Animal Licenses

To secure a pet license, owners must certify that pets have been vaccinated with anti-rabies vaccine when the animal is old enough to receive it, as determined by a veterinarian. The pet license fee is $5 if the animal has been neutered or spayed, $25 if not. There is a limit of three pets. Licenses may be obtained from the City of Sedalia Finance Department, 200 South Osage, (660) 827-3000 x136, and must be renewed annually.

Driver and Vehicle Licenses

Newcomers to the state have 30 days after they have established residency to file for a valid Missouri driver’s license and vehicle plates. A Missouri operator’s license may be obtained at the Pettis County Department of Motor Vehicles, located in Thompson Hills Shopping Center at 3135 West Broadway, (660) 826-3316.

Don’t forget – in Missouri, wearing a seat belt in an automobile is the law.
