What is the Chamber?

Chartered in 1913, the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce has been a voluntary, member-supported organization of business, industrial, and professional people who are dedicated to developing, promoting, and maintaining a sound and healthy economic climate for our area.

The Chamber is proud to be a leader in community development. We are nearly 300 members strong and bring the best minds within the community and business leaders together to touch virtually every aspect of community life. Our program of work involves convention and tourism assistance, community strategic planning, heritage interpretation, military affairs, small business assistance, and promotion of the Sedalia area as retail hub of the region.

The Chamber is a resource center providing information for visitors, retail prospects, and demographics on the Sedalia area.

Looking to the future, the Chamber is playing a large role in the development of future leaders in our community. Our Leadership Sedalia classes have over 250 alumni and many are very active in the community.
